About Anke

Intimacy and relationship coaching with warmth, depth, and grounded support

I’m Anke Van Mullem, a holistic intimacy and relationship coach for individuals and couples.

I support people who long for more connection, more honesty, more pleasure, and more ease in the way they relate – to themselves, their body, and the people they love. My work is especially for those navigating recurring relationship patterns, emotional disconnection, intimacy struggles, unclear boundaries, or the feeling that something inside has gone quiet.

People often describe me as warm, safe, attuned, grounding, and deeply caring. I bring together honest conversation, somatic awareness, nervous system sensitivity, and practical support, so the work is not only insightful, but something you can actually feel and live.

I work with individuals, with couples who feel stuck in conflict or disconnection, and with couples who want support before things become a deeper crisis. Sometimes that also includes building a stronger foundation before exploring new territory in intimacy, kink, or open relating.

Get to know me and my work a little more

  • This work matters to me because I know how much intimacy, connection, and self-expression can be shaped by the things we carry quietly in the body.

My own path has been one of deep personal exploration — through relationships, through moving across cultures, through reconnecting with parts of myself that had gone numb or stayed hidden, and through learning how much healing becomes possible when there is enough safety, honesty, and space to soften.

Again and again, I have seen how powerful it is when people are met in a way that is gentle, real, and wide enough for their full humanity. That is the kind of space I want to offer: a place where more truth, more feeling, and more aliveness can emerge at their own pace.

  • My work is holistic, body-aware, trauma-aware, and grounded in consent.

That means we do not only talk about what is happening on the surface. We also listen for what is happening underneath: in the body, in the nervous system, in relational patterns, in the places where words alone are sometimes not enough.

I bring together coaching, mindfulness, somatic awareness, communication support, and intimacy work in a way that is warm, practical, and responsive to what is actually alive in the moment.

There is space here for tenderness, truth, challenge, vulnerability, and change – but not through pressure. I believe people open when they feel safe enough, supported enough, and met with care.

  • I am a certified VITA™ Love, Intimacy, and Relationship Coach, with additional training in couples coaching, relationship transformation, and Jade Egg work.

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Arts in Cognition and Communication.

Alongside my private practice, I also work as an Intake & Matching Coach for Meerdanseks and as a Facilitator & Crew Member at House of Play. These spaces continue to deepen my experience in consent, communication, relational exploration, and creating spaces where people can show up more honestly and fully.

My work is also informed by personal and professional experience with embodiment, sexual healing, and de-armouring spaces. While I am not an official practitioner in that modality, those experiences have shaped how I gently support people in softening, reconnecting with sensation, and finding more space for pleasure and aliveness in the body.

A few words from a client

“Anke held me so safely in her container and I felt heard, seen and understood. She has a beautiful way of helping me feel calm and nourished through the sessions...”
